Zero Degrees
Whats that ! I thought it was summer, how can it be zero degrees?
A day trip today to the Royal Observatory, Maritime Museum, and Cutty Sark. All of which are situated on or near the Prime Meridian of Longitude (Zero Degrees)
The Cutty Sark is a ship with a long history. It has been carefully restored and made into a nautical museum.
Here is the ship
The current master of the ship, old Seadog Wombat can be seen here at the helm....
And here in the Masters Quarters
After a spot of lunch we headed up to the Royal Observatory where we definately crossed the line
The display does read Zero ! I am neither east nor west !
Someone else on the line...
A fun day indeed, and a great place to visit. More soon .....
